Cryotherapy
No more cold hosing! Subzero therapy uses pressurized CO2 to target specific areas that can be hard to ice. These include joints: hocks, stifle, pastern and fetlock. This results in optimized range of motion and reduced pain.
-
Red Light Therapy
A must have for any wound, soft tissue injury, to use on a chronic problem area or for preventive maintenance. “The visible red light is absorbed by skin layers and is best for uses such as treating trigger and acupuncture points and for treating wounds and infections. Near-infrared light penetrates to a deeper level and is used to treat concerns of tendons, ligaments, bones, joints, and muscle.”

Massage
Help relieve your horse’s tension from every day work and competition. Frees the body of muscle fatigue and cramps. This allows them to move more freely and extend their stride.
CRYOTHERAPY
THE SCIENCE:
“The diffuser streams high-pressure, carbon dioxide (CO2) gas at 70 bars pressure and -110°F to the affected site on the horse’s body. This creates a thermal shock that immediately activates the sensory neuroreceptors under the skin.”
“The horse’s central nervous system responds with a corrective reflex, which brings a reduction in inflammation, swelling and pain, with further muscular relaxation, within just 60 seconds.”
What It Treats (not limited to):
Muscle Strains and Microtears
Muscle Spasm
Moderates Exercise-Induced Inflammation
Reduced Recovery Time
Abscesses
Edema
Superficial wounds
Sores and abrasions
Tendon Lesions
Ligament Lesions
Dorsal Metacarpal Disease (Sore/Bucked Shins)
Tendon and Ligament Injury
Soft Tissue Adhesions
Acute Laminitis
Cellulitis
Dermatological Conditions
Hoof Disease (Canker, Thrush)
Sarcoids
I use a thermal gun to help detect any hot spots. After the cryotherapy session, I use the thermal gun once again to show how the heat has decreased!
This can also be used to test hot spots after riding, especially for saddle fit!
TREATMENT OPTIONS:
Fog treatment - less intense sensation & quieter. Best for sensitive horses or not going deeper than skin level.
Massage treatment - pin point and “ice” massage with direct contact. Best for deep tissues on the neck, back and hindquarters.
Localized spray - used treat specific areas of the horse's body.
**Cryotherapy treatments are more effective when used consistently. We recommend 1-2 sessions per week for preventative maintenance.
RED LIGHT THERAPY
Manages pain, inflammation and muscle recovery by increasing circulation. Potential benefits provide pain relief, injury recovery, and aid in recovery from performance. It can help increase healing to wounds and injured soft tissues.
This type of therapy works great to complement the cryotherapy and massage therapy.
Sessions are completed in 15 minute increments.
